WISTA-CMLA-ICS celebrate end-of-summer drinks in Ottawa

The Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers (ICS) Canada Branch, Women’s International Shipping & Trading Association (WISTA) Canada and the Canadian Maritime Law Association (CMLA) co-hosted an end-of-summer cocktail in Ottawa on September 19th 2018.

The event was held at Common Eatery, a very spacious and bright restaurant/bar on Elgin St in Downtown Ottawa, on a very pleasant afternoon. A total of 25 people attended with great representation from Transport Canada, Dept of Fisheries & Oceans, Ship Source Oil Pollution Fund, Federal Fleet Service and Canadian International Bureau of Shipping. Everyone mingled well and had a great time and quite a few stayed late!

This was ICS’ first event in Ottawa. A big thanks to WISTA and CMLA for approaching us to co-host and to everyone who attended and making the event a success. Looking forward to our next event in Ottawa!
